Painted_earth_logoLast week, I shared with you an exciting, organic and natural skincare company that I recently discovered and the incredible cleansing line that I was fortunate enough to try out – and LOVED!  Painted Earth not only sent me that fantastic line (did you read check out the Boo Boo Gel yet??), but they graciously sent me some great natural, mineral makeup for myself and some fun eyeshadow to try out at my daughter’s spa-themed birthday party.

What did I think?

Painted Earth sent me an assortment of their Loose Mineral Eye Shimmers and Glitters to use at Miss Goose’s Spa-Tacular Sixth Birthday party.  These shimmers and glitters are paraben-free, fragrance-free and contain no talc.  With colors like the high impact Pink Beauty glitter that gives you a fun and bright color to yours to a more subtle, yet equally impactful shimmer like, Diamond – you cannot lose with these!  The glitters add a fun bit of color to your face and catch the light really drawing attention to wherever you wear it!  For the girls, we used this as an eyeshadow, as well as on their lips.  We simply applied some lipgloss first and then dusted it on.  The girls thought this was the greatest thing ever and felt like “rockstars”.  We completed their rock look with Pink Mambo glitter as a sort of blush and hair glitter.  We were treated to a dance party and karaoke of sorts that was fun, glitter-filled and giggle inducing.  The Painted Earth glitters and shimmers definitely made this party a blast!  I loved that I could feel confident using these products on the girls that I was not going to be poisoning their young systems with chemical-laden and toxic products that are frequently available.

Painted_earth_makeupI also received an assortment of lip glosses and moisturizers which not only added a light pop of color to lips, but are great for keeping in your purse to moisturize dry, cracked lips.  I loved that these were not sticky!

Two products I received that we did not use at the spa-tacular, but I hoarded for myself (oops, I mean, I kept for myself) were the eyeliner and mascara.  Now, let me tell you, whenever I do not wear eyeliner or mascara, at least five people a day ask me if I sick or not feeling well.  I take this as a sign that I have tiny, sick looking eyes that need the “lift” of quality eye makeup!  The Painted Earth LashLuxe mascara does not disappoint!  This lightweight mascara gives you super long looking lashes with a hue that lasts.  I am loving how smoothly it applies and that I do not have to reapply throughout the day!  My favorite though, was the SuperWear Gel Liner!  This eyeliner is truly smudge proof!  I usually end up with a streak of my eyeliner just above the crease in my eye after a few hours of wear, with just under two weeks of wearing this eyeliner daily, I am happy to share I have not experienced that with the Painted Earth eyeliner!  This eyeliner has Vitamin E and Jojoba oil, which not only helps the eyeliner apply more smoothly, but also provides some much-needed moisture to that area of your face.

The Verdict

The Painted Earth products are all-natural with many organic ingredients which immediately rockets them to the top of my list.  But that is not the only reason – in fact, in the long list of why I love Painted Earth, that is at somewhere in the middle – these products are AMAZING!  High quality, long-lasting and safe – I love, love, LOVE these products!  I feel good about using them and would recommend them over and over again!  If you would like to learn more about Painted Earth, visit them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
