With two girly-girls in the house, they are always asking for me to paint their nails, or attempt to paint themselves. While painting their nails is very fast, it is the drying part that takes forever and results in a lot of “MOM! Can I move yet?” shouts from the living room while I am cooking dinner. Or it results in nail polish smeared on clothes. So when Michelle, an independent consultant for Jamberry nail wraps offered to send me some Jamberry nail wraps for review – I was excited to give them a try!
What did I think of the Jamberry Nail Wraps?
I have to say, Michelle makes it easy for a nail wrap newbie! She sent me a lovely package of nail wraps and everything I would need to apply them (minus the heat source – easy enough, I grabbed my hair dryer!). I especially love that of the two sheets of nail wraps that I received, one is kid-sized! So I could easily wrap the girls’ nails, too!
The girls and I set off to our nail wrapping journey and it turned out great! First step is to clean up your nails – so get a thorough washing, trim your nails, hang nails, etc and then gentle push back your cuticles. When you are ready to apply wipe your nails with alcohol wipes to ensure they are clean and ready and things will move more quickly!
For the girls, they have such teeny nails, it took a few tries to get decent at applying them! You can get a couple of manicures out of a set by cutting them in half, which is what I did. The only hard part with applying them to the girls is, you have to use the hair dryer on the heat setting to set the nail wrap and they didn’t like that – in fact, until now, I’m not sure they knew my hair dryer had a hot setting since I usually flip it to cool when I use it for them. After a while, they adjusted and enjoyed getting fun print on their nails!
I am still working on applying mine – my left hand looks AMAZING! (I’m a righty!) The trick is, learning to do that just as well to my right-hand. Stay tuned for photos as I work through that process!
If you are looking for a quick, affordable and fun way to transform your nails and add a beautiful fashion accessory to your hands with little investment, you have to try Jamberry nail wraps! Each sheet of nail wraps gives you enough wraps for two pedicures, two manicures and extras to mix and match with other prints as accent nails!
They always have an amazing Buy 3, Get One free sale going for the nail wraps – so you can try an assortment of styles and save money at the same time! Since the nail wraps will last up to two weeks on your fingernails and up to four on your toenails, with that deal, you would be getting four to six months of fresh nail looks for less than the price of a mani/pedi at the salon! And don’t get me started if you host a party! Seriously! Just show the catalog to your friends and when they order, you get even more for free!
